Arbutus Laser | 30+ Years of Patience Centred-Excellence
At Arbutus Laser, we have been at the forefront of skin resurfacing laser treatments since they were first introduced in the early 90’s. Our experience and expertise with laser technologies allow us to provide exceptional results for our patients.
We obtained BC’s first Erbium YAG laser in 1995 and used it successfully for skin resurfacing and skin remodeling.
Our highly skilled team has undergone extensive training in resurfacing treatments and stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. We have literally performed thousands of laser treatments, with satisfied patients. When you choose Arbutus Laser for your laser or resurfacing treatments, you can trust that you are in the hands of experienced professionals dedicated to helping you achieve your desired skin goals.
The Erbium YAG Laser enables the removal of a very thin layer of skin. This laser is often used to smooth the skin after a mole removal to reduce the appearance of a scar. It can also flatten any raised skin lesions and treat uneven textured skin, especially those with acne scarring.
The Erbium YAG laser emits light at a wavelength that is highly absorbed by water molecules in the skin. As a result, the Erbium YAG is well-suited for skin resurfacing and treating various skin lesions, particularly those on the surface or superficial layers of the skin.
Generally we can see results in one treatment session, however, more may be needed depending on the skin condition. Multiple treatments would be spaced 8 or more weeks apart.
Must avoid sun exposure after treatment. Not suitable for tanned or darker skin types.
Pricing for our Erbium YAG laser treatments will vary based on the treatment area and the concerns being treated. The minimum cost for Erbium is $250 per session.
Consultation is necessary to determine if Erbium YAG Laser is the best device for your skin condition. Consultation fee is $125 and is taken at the time of booking your consultation. Consultation fees may be applied to services.
Arbutus Laser Centre offers a selection of laser and resurfacing treatments, which expands our ability to cater to individual preferences. Different types of laser and resurfacing treatments have slightly different benefits, and our team will consult with you on the best treatments for your specific skin needs.
