Q: How does Pico Toning differ from other laser treatments?

A: Pico Toning stands out due to the use of picosecond laser technology, which delivers rapid and powerful laser pulses. These ultra-short pulses create a “photoacoustic” effect, targeting skin concerns with exceptional precision while minimizing heat damage to surrounding tissue. This leads to a more comfortable procedure and often requires less downtime compared to other laser treatments.

Q: How many Pico Toning sessions are typically needed to see results?

A: The number of Pico Toning sessions required can vary depending on individual skin conditions and treatment goals. Most patients achieve noticeable improvement after a series of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart.

Q: What is the downtime after a Pico Toning session?

A: Pico Toning typically involves minimal downtime. Patients may experience some mild redness and swelling immediately after the procedure, but these effects generally subside within a few hours to a day. Many individuals are able to resume their regular activities shortly after the treatment.

Q: Is Pico Toning with the PicoWay® Laser safe for all skin types?

A: Yes, Pico Toning with the PicoWay® Laser is safe for all skin types, including darker skin tones. The picosecond laser’s ability to deliver energy in ultra-short pulses reduces the risk of causing pigmentation changes or other side effects commonly associated with some other laser treatments.
