What is HYDRAFACIAL®
A HydraFacial® is a luxurious, device based facial treatment that aims to cleanse, exfoliate, extract impurities, and hydrate the skin. It is a very popular and customizable procedure designed to improve overall skin health and appearance.
The HydraFacial® system consists of several steps:
Cleansing and Exfoliation: A gentle cleansing of the skin, followed by exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and reveal a fresher complexion.
Acid Peel: A mild, non-irritating acid peel is applied to the skin to further loosen debris and impurities from the pores.
Extraction: Using a painless and gentle suction, the HydraFacial device extracts impurities, such as blackheads and whiteheads, from the skin.
Hydration and Nourishment: The skin is then infused with a mix of serums containing antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate, plump, and nourish the skin.
LED Lights: A combination of red or blue light is applied to the skin to reduce redness or destroy bacteria on the skin.
HydraFacial® is typically comfortable and very well-tolerated, making it suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin.

OUR APPROACH TO HYDRAFACIAL®
We believe that everyone is a candidate for HydraFacial®. This introductory treatment is a great segway for younger skin types looking to start their skin care journey, or a quick non-invasive skin brightener before a special event, or a pore unclogger for those congested skin types.
HydraFacial® delivers noticeable results with minimal downtime. HydraFacial® fans rave about improved skin texture, a more even complexion, and a healthy, radiant glow immediately after the treatment.
HydraFacial® treatments at Arbutus Laser are always comprehensive. We schedule an hour for this service and, because we believe strongly in the power of light, LED is always included post treatment.
CONSIDERATIONS
HydraFacial® treatments may be easily combined with some of our other services such as Laser Genesis or Pico Toning. Injectable services such as Botox may be booked immediately following.
PRICING
HydraFacial® treatments are $250 for a full face.

A: Yes, HydraFacial® can be done anywhere where there is skin to help smooth, brighten and improve the skin texture and appearance. We love it on the back of the arms, back, buttocks and scalp!
Q: Can the HydraFacial® treat specific skin conditions, such as psoriasis?
Q: Is the HydraFacial® safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Q: Can the HydraFacial® replace other more invasive treatments?
A: The HydraFacial® provides a temporary improvement in skin appearance and hydration. While it can complement other treatments, it is not a replacement for more invasive cosmetic procedures for long-lasting results.
